Art Director (Next Gen projects)

One of the CG industries largest outsourcing service providers is looking for an Art Director to take charge on new AAA next gen projects. In this role, the Art Director will oversee a multicultural team of talented individuals in the beautiful city of Shanghai.

Responsibilities:

•Manage one of the teams of 3D model and texture artists engaged in next gen game projects.

•Establish Art production pipeline in coordination with clients.

•Communicate with clients about artistic and technical matters.

•Offer art and technique training to team members.

•Ensure technical and artistic quality of deliverables.

Requirement:

•University degree or above in Art related field or from Art Institutes with above 5 years experience in 3D art design. .

•Strong artistic aptitudes and skills in 2D design, painting, drawing.

•Expert in 3DSMax or Maya, Photoshop, Zbrush.

•At least 4 years experience as Lead Artisit, Senior Artist or Artist Team Leader with hands-on technical experience including X-Box, PS3 and PS2, and proven track record on real-time 3D games.

•Highly organized individual with an eye for details and a passion for leading and mentoring.

•Good working knowledge of English is a must.
