Senior Producer

The role of the producer is to manage the day-to-day and strategic functions of a project, using their experience to identify and resolve day-to-day issues in order to deliver projects on time and to the required quality standards.

Main duties and responsibilities:

Project Planning

• To validate that all documentation required to pass Development Process gateways is produced on time and to the required quality.

• To work with Project Planning Manager to define development processes for the entire project lifecycle.

• Review detailed milestone deliverables and ensure they are fully achieved

• Validate weekly Project Progress Reports, including detailed Risk Register.

• Report to the Executive Producer on progress, budgets, risks and issues.

• To determine and drive, in conjunction with the Executive Producer, a rolling studio programme.

Team Management

• Ensure that liaison with other studios and Departments is done in a timely and efficient way to ensure that requirements are defined and delivered.

• Define in conjunction with Brand and Marketing the process and schedule for the supply of marketing assets.

• Maintain relationships across internal departments and external companies.

• To carry out such tasks as may be required by the Development Director.

• Work with Chief Game Designer and Producer to maximize game quality within time and cost constraints.

Staff Management

• Regular appraisal, review and objective setting for first line reports.

• Motivating staff and maintaining morale throughout the team.
