Senior Game Engine Programmer

Our client is developing new and exciting projects and are looking for brilliant Senior Games Engine Programmer to join their studio. This up and coming developer is working with leading studios in the gaming industry to create innovative and orginal games.

RESPONSIBILITIES

•Develop technical design specifications and implementations.

•Work closely with the gameplay programming and design teams to collaborate on core systems.

•Work closely with the rest of the game engine team to design and implement core systems.

•Accurately estimate schedules and deliver high quality products on time.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

•Very strong C++ programming and debugging skills.

•Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.

•Ability to write clear, maintainable, well documented and thread safe code.

•Ability to develop core gameplay systems.

•Ability to plan, document and maintain a reliable programming schedule.

•Have a strong desire for continuous personal and professional development.

•Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members is essential.

•Fluent in English, both verbal and written.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

•At least 1-2 published games credited as a Senior Programmer,

•Experience developing core game engine systems.

•Experience with multi-core architectures and multi-threaded programming.

•Experience with large client/server projects.

•Experience working on network replicated fast paced game logic.

•Experience working with PlayStation3.
