Senior Gameplay Programmer

Our client is developing new and exciting projects and are looking for brilliant Senior Gameplay Programmer to join their studio. This up and coming developer is working with leading studios in the gaming industry to create innovative and orginal games.

RESPONSIBILITIES

•Develop technical design specifications and implementations.

•Work closely with the design team to collaborate and implement gameplay functionality.

•Work closely with the game engine team to collaborate on core gameplay systems.

•Accurately estimate schedules and deliver high quality products on time.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

•Awesome Lua skills.

•Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.

•Ability to write clear, maintainable, well documented code.

•Ability to work closely with designers to implement their vision of the game.

•Ability to plan, document and maintain a reliable development schedule.

•Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with team mates is essential.

•Have a strong desire for continuous personal and professional development.

•Fluent in English, both verbal and written.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

•At least 2 published games credited as a Senior Gameplay Programmer.

•1 game could be enough

•Experience implementing and iterating game logic.

•Experience working on networked game logic.

•Experience working closely with Artists and Designers to produce high quality systems.

•Experience working with PlayStation3.
