Description: Senior Network Programmer
Our client is developing new and exciting projects and are looking for brilliant Senior Network Programmer to join their studio. This up and coming developer is working with leading studios in the gaming industry to create innovative and orginal games. The network programmer will have experience designing big network solutions before and want to take it to the next level.
RESPONSIBILITIES
•Design, implement, optimize and document a large scale online multiplayer client and server solution.
•Design and implement tools and applications used for data mining / analyzing and server operations
.•Work closely with the engine and gameplay teams to collaborate on core systems.
•Research and develop network models and solutions.
•Accurately estimate schedules and deliver high quality products on time.
•Lead and mentor a small team of network programmers.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
•Very strong C++ programming and debugging skills.
•Write clear, maintainable, well documented and thread safe code.
•Ability to plan, document and maintain a reliable programming schedule.
•Experience with large client / server projects.
•Experience with multi-core architectures and multi-threaded programming.
•Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with team mates is essential.
•Strong desire to build cutting edge technology.

•Understand distributed systems architecture and development.
