Senior Network Programmer

The Senior Network Programmer will be a part of our client’s Core Technology team. This team is responsible for developing the distributed cluster technology which serves as the basis for its single world, massively multiplayer universe. This requires strong skills in networking, parallel and distributed computing and real time programming as we develop its ability to scale with the growing number of players.

Requirements include:

•5+ years experience with distributed systems, or sensor networks.

•Experience working as part of a team with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

•Strong network programming skills, TCP/IP or similar protocols.

•Strong programming and debugging experience in Python or C++ in a real time environment.

•Understanding of scaling and performance issues in distributed/networked systems.

•Windows Internals or Linux Kernel experience a plus.

•Theoretical background in distributed algorithms a plus
